Golden Victory of Dr. V.K. Sharma at Uttarakhand State Level Shooting Competition

Dehradun. Senior Radiologist of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital Dr. Veerendra Kumar Sharma has won Gold Medal at Uttarakhand State Level Shooting Championship. Dr. V.K. Sharma has been congratulated by hospital's doctors and staff over this achievement. Dr. V.K.Sharma is also aiming to participate in National Shooting Championship to be held in November 2019 at Delhi. For this, he is practicing shooting hard these days.


Dr. V.K.Sharma has won this gold Medal at the competition held at Jaspal Rana Shooting Range locate at Paundha by scoring the 259 points out of 400 in 10 meters shooting. These exact shots were hit by Dr. V.K. Sharma b y his air pistol of 'Morini' brand of Switzerland. Before also, Dr. V.K.Sharma had won Gold medal in March 2019 at the Inter State 1st Master Championship. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences at this achievement of Dr. V.K.Sharma.


It's worth mentioning being that Dr. V.K.Sharma is one of the renowned Radiologists of Uttarakhand. Besides being M.D. (Radio-diagnosis) from Gwalior and acquired professional Training in Master of Public Health (Finland) and Thermography (U.S.A.). He has unique exposure in radiology, training from Sweden, Finland, U.S.A and Hong Kong. He has been source of inspiration to young radiologists aspiring to make a life-long career in Radiology.


While speaking over the occasion, Dr. V.K.Sharma wished all young doctors to participate in sports apart from been devoted for Medical Profession while serving community


Dr. V.K.Sharma wished to give message to youngsters in the age 12 years onwards to participate in shooting sports which is highly related with meditation and concentration. It not only brings perfection but also helps in aiming high and helping in getting employment in few government, pvt. Institutions and NGOs. He said that it needs sincerity and regular practice to gain achievements in sports.


Dr. V.K.Sharma now aiming to provide in future, young aspirants to join him to join hand in shooting sports. He also plans to provide free of cost to training to those who cannot afford (BPL) and are aspirant to excel in shooting sport. This may help in bringing new talents in sports activities.
