Department of Ophthalmology is an important clinical department of Shri Guru Ram Institute of Medical and Health Sciences that deals with diagnosis, prevention and treatment of various disorders and conditions of the eye. It is located in south block of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Our experienced ophthalmology team comprises Corneal specialist, Glaucoma specialist, Retina specialist, Squint and Neuro-ophthalmology specialist and Oculoplasty specialist, ophthalmology graduates along with other well trained paramedical staff to carry out various ophthalmology procedures. It receives referrals from all associated medical specialties in the hospital and various patients requiring a multidisciplinary approach are managed with adequate participation by ophthalmologists from time to time. Since it’s inception, it has evolved from delivering basic routine ophthalmology procedures to highly specialized procedures to the masses.
