The Central Animal House is located behind the Examination Hall in the medical college. It has been registered with Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals(CPCSEA) for “Education” and Research for Educational Purpose” on small animals with a registration number 1787/PO/Ere/S/14/CPCSEA. It is a well equipped animal house with separate rooms for each species of small animals like Rats, Mice, Guinea Pigs and Rabbits. Besides these, there is a Quarantine Room, Experimental Room, OT Room, Autoclave Room, Store Room, Changing Room, Staff Office and an Office for Veterinary Surgeon. The Animal House is surrounded by lush green lawn and plants. The Meetings of the Central Animal House are conducted regularly.
