MSK WORKSHOP

• Weekend Refresher’s course in upper limb musculoskeletal ultrasound was held in radiology department of SGRR Medical College from 8-9 September 2018. The senior faculty in this programme was Dr. Nidhi Bhatnagar whereas Dr. Sonal Saran was the junior faculty. Fifty candidates participated in the event including Junior -Residents, Senior -Resident and faculty members from our institute as well as other hospitals / Medical colleges in Dehradun and other cities. The course was of immense benefit and all the participants had hands on training in upper limb musculoskeletal ultrasound. At the end of the event all the participants had a fair idea of upper limb musculoskeletal ultrasound and were given certificates.

EXTRACURRICULAR

• Tree plantation drive was carried out by department of Radiology, SGRR Medical College on 4th August 2019 from 8.00AM to 10.00 AM in college campus and its running. Almost all the faculty members, senior residents and junior residents of the department took part in the event. In view of increasing pollution importance of tree plantation was reinforced in the community and its benefits were highlighted during the event.
