The department of biochemistry with collaboration of department of Obs. & Gynecology of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of medical & Health Sciences conducted a CME on changing Paradigms in Cervical Cancer Screening sponsored by Qiagen Pvt. Ltd. & Revive Healthtech.
On this occasion the speakers were Dr. Tariq Masood (Professor & Head, Department of Biochemistry), Dr. Anshu Sharma (Assist. Professor, Department of Obs. & Gynaeology), Dr. Biswadeep Chaudhary (Product Specialist, Qiagen India Pvt. Ltd.). They spoke about recent advances in Cervical Cancer Diagnosis, Screening Cervical Cancer guidelines & methods, increasing assess to screening Qiagen HPV solutions.
There was a panel discussion also done by Prof. Dr. Vineeta Gupta, (Professor & Head Obs. & Gynaeology) who was a moderator to the talk, Dr. Rajeev Acharya (Prof. Obs. & Gynae,) Dr. Bhaskar Charana Kabi (Professor cum Lab Director), Dr. Seema Acharya Prof& Head Department of Pathology , Dr Narotam Sharma, Scientist CMRL & Dr Biswadeep Chaudhary.
It was detailed discussion of Etiology, Pathogenesis, with guidelines & method of screening, with treatment, vaccination in both children & females of reproductive age.
Discussion provided detailed knowledge of HPV infections & its importance in Indian society.
