HOD, Deptt. of Pediatrics of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma has been honoured with the prestigious Children Champions Award 2022. He has been accorded with this award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of child welfare. This award was presented to him by Chief Minister of Uttarakhand State, Pushkar Singh Dhami in a programme organized at Chief Minister’s Camp Office Cum Residence. Chairman of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj has congratulated Dr. Utkarsh Sharma and showered his divine blessings over Dr. Utkarsh Sharma.
Principal, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dr. Yashbir Dewan informed that Uttarakhand Child Protection has awarded certain pediatricians with this honour recognizing their commendable efforts in prevention and treatment of diseases of children. Speaking over the occasion, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma said that this is a matter of pride for all the awardees to be honoured with this renowned award ‘Children Champions Award 2022’. He said that this award will provide a unique motivation to the pediatricians to serve the children in the best possible manner.
A congratulations programme was also organized at the Principal’s office of SGRRIM&HS to mark this occasion. In the programme, doctors and staff members of SGRR Medical College and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital complemented Dr. Utkarsh Sharma on bringing laurels to SGRR Medical College and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
It’s significant to mention that Dr. Utkarsh Sharma is a Senior Professor and HOD of Deptt. of Pediatrics of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. While addressing the gathering at the occasion, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma extended deep gratitude towards hospital’s Chairman Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. He said that under the charismatic guidance of Chairman Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and its Deptt. of Pediatrics is achieving milestone achievements and serving the needy patients in a remarkable manner. He also extended thanks to his colleague doctors and staff members for their continued support which also is a factor that he was able to be honoured with this achievement.
